A bag neck sealer is available which applies the tape around the neck of the plastic bag. This dispenser is of strong metal construction and will provide many years of effective service.

Bag Neck Sealing Tape

Polyethylene bags are widely used for food packaging, such as vegetables and meat, most commonly employed in retail outlets. It provides a hygienic and airtight presentation.

Tape:
The strong PVC adhesive tape used for sealing these bags are available in a range of colours, for colour coding, and are used in two different dimensions:

Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Black

Tape Dimensions:
9mm x 66m – 192 rolls per case (most commonly used width)
12mm x 66m – 144 rolls per case

JOINING POLYETHYLENE SHEETING IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF GREENHOUSE TUNNELS

All Weather Tape This clear transparent tape is based on a strong polyethylene film coated with an aggressive acrylic adhesive. Polyethylene has great outdoor durability and the acrylic adhesive has been specially formulated to provide resistance to UV light, making the tape ideal for all outdoor applications where long aging is of paramount importance. In all climates it will match the life of the polyethylene film to which it may be applied. Adhesion is outstanding on many different substrates, particularly flexible films and rigid plastics as well as timber and glass. RESISTANT TO UV LIGHT, MOISTURE, SALT WATER, OILS AND DIRECT SUN LIGHT

Applications

The properties of 1433 All Weather Tape make it ideally suited for a wide range of outdoor and indoor applications, involving repairs, splicing or joining. In particular it has been used extensively in the construction or reinforcement of horticultural PVC or Polyethylene structures such as greenhouse tunnels where such sheeting’s require joining together. It is also ideal in the construction of temporary shelters involving the joining of plastic sheeting, making waterproof joints in pool liners or vehicle covers.

Anti Hot Spot Tape

Based on a long lasting foam tape, the application is on aluminium frames which form the support in the construction of greenhouse tunnels. The tape applied to the aluminium supports prevents the build-up of hot spots, which could cause considerable abrasion on the plastic sheeting’s covering the aluminium frames.
